Detroit -160 over LA Angels:
Red hot Justin Verlander (6-3, 3.63) goes to the mound tonight as the Tigers try to bounce back after being swept this week by the Red Sox. Verlander has been rollin of late, winning his last six decisions with a 1.31 ERA over that span. Ervin Santana gets the call for Los Angeles tonight and will be looking to rebound from a brutal last pair of starts. The 2008 All-Star surrendered eight runs and 10 hits over 5 1/3 innings against Seattle this past Sunday, six days after he was torched for seven runs and nine hits while recording just three outs in a 17-3 setback to the Chicago White Sox. We expect Detroit to bounce back huge tonight in an easy win.

Kansas City -145 over Toronto:
If it’s Kansas City, then it must be Zack Greinke. The early favorite the AL Cy Young Award is 8-1 so far in 2009, with a 1.10 ERA. He gave up three runs in his last start to finally get his season ERA above 1. To say he’s been dominant would be a gross understatement. After a great start to the season, the Blue Jays have really hit the wall and now find themselves in third place in the AL East after begin in first the first month and a half. Rookie Ricky Romero has been awful since coming off of the disabled list. He has given up five runs in both of his starts since his return to raise his ERA to 4.15. Should be an easy one for KC tonight in Toronto.
