Oakland Athletics & San Francisco Giants: Review Of Week One
Yeah, the first three games for the Giants were good. They beat up a lackluster team with no pitching.
This weekend was a utter disaster!
Zito, yeah nothing new.

10 Scorching MLB Takes 🌶️

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
Sanchez, he has to work on facing the lineup two or more times a game. A starting pitcher can't win pitching only three innings a game.
Lincecum, I think he is just too amped. He will get better.
Hitting is another thing all together.
Like I said before, it's not the Giants pitching I'm concerned about, I am worried that the offense against other teams—the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 starters not being up to par.
Three walks all weekend, all on Friday. Not good. Shows me they are not playing small ball.
I hope I am wrong about my previous predictions, but the past four games are proving me right so far.
The A's on the other hand, have the pitching and offense to compete.
Their young pitchers have the stuff to win. Will they show it?
I think they will.
I have more faith in Curt Young then Dave Rigetti. But that just me.
That said, A's typical start slow but heat up in summer. I don't expect much but then the pitchers give their best to keep us in games.
Hitting—what can I say—Nomar is banging hits as well as Giambi taking pitches for the team.
The bench is loaded—figure that it will be used to keep all players healthy.
I figure I will get a better picture for the end of the month. At the moment, my money is on the A's being more competitive then the Giants.
Till next time, pray for your Giants, boys, cause I think they'll need it!
