Free MLB Pick: Minnesota—155 over Cleveland

Kevin Slowey (7-1, 4.11) has been the go-to guy for the Twins this season, and they need him tonight in the opener of a three-game series at the Metrodome against the Indians. The Twins have been scuffling a bit and this is a great time to welcome the bottom feeders in the AL Central. Slowey is 2-2 lifetime with a 4.35 ERA in 31 lifetime innings vs. Cleveland.

David Huff (0-1, 10.97) takes the mound for the Tribe. Huff has struggled in his three previous starts, but the Indians have high hopes for the lefty out of UCLA. He’s been a little better of late, but has allowed 11 hits and six runs in just seven innings. The fact that those outings have been an improvement should say all there is to say about his struggles thus far. It's an easy win, tonight, for the Twins.

Free MLB Pick: Over 9.5 Kansas City-Tampa Bay:

Two struggling pitchers take the hill, tonight, at the Trop as Kyle Daives (2-4, 5.09) opposes Andy Sonnanstine (3-5, 7.66) in the first of a three game set. Both of these teams are really playing poorly right now, as KC has lost nine of 11, and the Rays have lost six of eight. Offense hasn’t been the issues for either, so that’s a good sign for the over. Both bullpens have been awful, especially the Royals, who are begging to get closer Joakim Soria back from the disabled list. With these two ERAs getting the start tonight, the over looks like money in the bank!
