Game 2 Reds Vs. Brewers

Matthew ReisMay 30, 2009

Brewers come in off a nice win last night.  Tonight we have 'silent ace' Dave Bush (3-1) against Aaron Harang (5-4).  Not many Reds have much experience against Bush.

Most successful Reds against Bush:

Alex Gonzalez (.750)

Joey Votto (.286 1 HR 3 RBI)--although I don't think he will play tonight

Brandon Philips (.258 1 RBI)

Jay Bruce (.200)

Brewers Bats against Harang:

Mike Rivera (.333)

Bill Hall (.317 3 HR, 7 RBI)

JJ Hardy (.278 3 HR, 4 RBI)

Mike Cameron (.429 2 RBI)

Prince Fielder (.300 2 HR, 5 RBI)

Craig Counsell (.318, 1 RBI)

Ryan Braun (.188 2 HR, 2 RBI)

I was terribly wrong on last night's prediction.  I am glad I was.  Tonight I think the Brewers win again.  I like the Brewers numbers versus Harang.  Bush continues his dominance of opposing teams.  Just a side note on Dave Bush.  The man is a workhorse, who is rarely injured.  He had to be one of the pitchers who stepped up if the Brewers were to contend.  He has so far.  Bill Hall starts and has a big night.  Brewers 5-2.  I hope this prediction is better than last nights.
