Transfer Rumour Rater: Koke to Manchester United in the January Window

Speculation around Koke's potential switch to Manchester United has increased following the news that Ander Herrera may no longer be an option for the Premier League champions.

Nick Lustig of the Daily Star says that David Moyes may turn his attention more toward Atletico Madrid's budding playmaker after comments made by Herrera that suggest he'll remain at Athletic Bilbao past this winter.

Lustig reports Herrera as saying: 

"I am tired about this issue. People are going to think that I want an exit but it is not true. I have said already that I am happy in Athletic Bilbao and I am going to stay here."

This falls on the back of another report by Lustig that Koke actually has a buyout clause in his contract, said to be worth £16 million.
