Real Madrid vs. Galatasaray: Live Player Ratings for Los Blancos
Real Madrid confirmed their place at the top of their Champions League group with a 4-1 win over Galatasaray on Wednesday night.
Los Blancos started the brighter at the Bernabeu, but were soon put on the back foot when Sergio Ramos picked up a red card for hauling down Umut Bulut.
Despite that though, Madrid bounced back to take the lead. Pepe was fouled 30 yards from goal and Gareth Bale bent the ball home, although there was some questionable defending from the wall while the Gala 'keeper didn't cover himself in glory either.

The visitor's reply was instant though, Didier Drogba setting up Umut to make sure the score was level at the break.
Ten man Madrid took over in the second half though, spurred on by, of all people, Alvaro Arbeloa. It was Arbeloa who restored Madrid's lead, before he turned provider for Angel di Maria to add a third.
Inside the final 10 minutes the mesmeric Isco completed the scoring.
Here are Madrid's player ratings:
First-half analysis
Iker Casillas: Not at fault for the goal and was neat and tidy in the air prior to conceding.
Alvaro Arbeloa: Not called upon much in terms of attack or defence.
Sergio Ramos: Had little to do until he found himself sent off for hauling down Umut Bulut.
Pepe: Lost Umut for the goal, but wasn't largely tested by a cautious Galatasaray side.
Marcelo: Like Arbeloa, except the Brazilian did set up one opening for Jese Rodriguez early on.
Asier Illarramendi: Not stamped his mark on the game in the way Xabi Alonso would have done.
Casemiro: Couple of important tackles to break up the visitor's attacks, couple of moments of naivety too.
Gareth Bale: Scored a decent free kick, but missed the target when well placed on two occasions.
Isco: Linked play nicely as part of a young Real Madrid front six.
Angel di Maria: On the right in place of Cristiano Ronaldo, big boots to fill for someone who's been out of the side for a few weeks.
Jese Rodriguez: Such bad luck to be hauled off on his full debut as Carlo Ancelotti addressed the balance of the side after Ramos' dismissal.
Second-half analysis
Iker Casillas: Produced one really top drawer save from Didier Drogba with 20 minutes remaining.
Alvaro Arbeloa: What happened to him in the second period? A goal, an assist and a yellow card for diving in the area.
Nacho Fernandez: An easier night's work than he would have anticipated when he came on after Ramos' red card.
Pepe: One great block inside the area as Madrid shut out their Turkish visitors in the second half.
Marcelo: Great return after missing the win over Almeria. Carried the ball forward with great purpose.
Asier Illarramendi: A quiet night for Illarra as he was outshone by all around him.
Casemiro: Replaced by Xabi Alonso on the hour after a fairly unremarkable performance, although that's not a bad thing.
Gareth Bale: Upstaged on the right flank by Arbeloa of all people! But, in all seriousness, another important step in the Madrid career of Bale.
Isco: At the heart of all Madrid's attacks and crowned his performance with a wonderful solo effort inside the last 10 minutes.
Angel di Maria: Looked lacking in fitness but was fantastic on the ball at times. Set up Arbeloa's goal with a great pass, and scored one of his own too.
Xabi Alonso: Replaced Casemiro and provided a calming influence in the middle of the park in the second half.
