Anquan Boldin's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 12 Performance
Anquan Boldin proved to be an impact player in the San Francisco 49ers offense for the second straight week against the Washington Redskins on Monday.
In a 27-6 win on Monday Night Football, Boldin racked up 94 yards and two touchdowns on five catches. After catching a 19-yard score in the first quarter, he connected with Colin Kaepernick from six yards out to pad the Niners' lead in the third.
Boldin entered Monday's contest coming off a resurgent performance last week against New Orleans. He was targeted nine times—his most since an anomalous 17 targets in Week 1—and caught six for 56 yards along with a touchdown, his first since Week 4.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The 33-year-old figured to be a major component to the 49ers' offense in the early stretches of the season, as he caught 13 passes for a massive 208 yards and a touchdown and clearly was counted on to offset a depleted San Francisco receiving corps. He carried over his hot streak from the epic 2012 playoff run with Baltimore and expectations were high.
Then, he struggled, failing to score a touchdown in seven of the next eight games before getting off the schneid against the Saints. He also hasn't surpassed the century mark in receiving since.
It's encouraging that Boldin got into the end zone for the second straight week and notched his first two-touchdown performance of the season. That should only improve his resurgence in fantasy, as he was started in 44.8 percent of ESPN leagues, despite riding the bench throughout the middle part of the season.
Boldin should continue to be a formidable flex option in traditional leagues, and he could be as high as a WR2 in some leagues after this breakout performance.
