OVER 11 Texas/New York Yankees:
AJ Burnett (2-2, 5.28 ) takes on rookie Derek Holland (1-1 4.82) tonight as the Yankees and Rangers wrap up a three game series in Arlington. Expect a lot of runs tonight as these pitchers are both struggling just a bit. Burnett, who is winless in his last seven starts, will look to turn things around against one of, if not the best lineup in the American League. He is 1-2 lifetime against the Rangers with a 4.72 ERA in five career starts. Holland is a higlhy touted rookie who will be making only his second big league start. He did not factor in the decision on Friday, when he allowed 3 runs in 5 1/3 innings at Houston. He appeared in seven games as a reliever earlier in the year. With Burnett’s recent struggles and Holland’s inexperience, this looks like a high scoring affair from where we sit.

Los Angeles +115 over Colorado:
The Dodgers look to continue their dominance over the Rockies in the finale of this three game series at Coors Field. LA is looking for their second three game sweep of the Rockies in 2009, and look to lefty Clayton Kershaw (2-3, 4.32) to finish off the sweep. Kershaw has shown flashes of brilliance in his brief career, including a near perfect game on May 17 vs. Florida. He was terrific again this past Friday allowing one run against the Angels. Colorado counters with Ubaldo Jimenez, who has been downright terrible against the Dodgers. He faced Los Angeles twice this season and was tagged for 13 runs over 8 1/3 innings. His lifetime ERA against the Dodgers is now 7.07 over nine career appearances.
