Liverpool took control of their Premier League match against Fulham on Saturday with two goals in the space of three first-half minutes at Anfield.
Both goals came from set pieces. The hosts took the lead in the 23rd minute after Steven Gerrard curled in a free kick from the right. Luis Suarez positioned himself in a dangerous area, but Fulham's Fernando Amorebieta had the final touch for an own goal.
Three minutes later, Liverpool struck again. Gerrard took a corner from the right, and Martin Skrtel powered his header into the net for a 2-0 lead.

Suarez made it 3-0 in the 36th minute, converting with a low finish from Jordan Henderson's angled pass.

The Uruguayan scored Liverpool's fourth in the 54th minute. Gerrard and Henderson pressured Kieran Richardson before Gerrard won the ball and slotted a pass to Suarez, who finished at the near post.
