Indians Make a Comeback to Remember

The Indians were down 10-2 at home against the Rays going into the bottom of the eighth and came back to win, 11-10.  The Tribe scored two in the bottom of the eighth and seven in the bottom of the ninth to win it.  

Wow! The big hits were Ryan Garko’s second HR of the game, a three run shot, and Victor Martinez’s game-winning single after popping out his first time up that inning.

That’s the kind of game that could drive Rays manager Joe Madden and their fans to drink, if they don’t already.

The Padres playing on the road in Arizona came back from a 7-1 deficit starting in the top of the eighth and winning the game 9-7 in the tenth, but the Padres find themselves overshadowed by Cleveland’s even more impressive comeback.
