Juventus vs. Real Madrid
Less than two weeks after clashing at the Bernabeu, these two Group B foes will meet again on Tuesday at Juventus Arena.
Real Madrid benefited from a Giorgio Chiellini red card to defeat the short-handed Juventus, 2-1. While Real has won all three Group B matches with a plus-10 goal differential, Juve are still searching for their first win.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale lead an electric attack that make Los Blancos a threat to capture their 10th European championship. Ronaldo has especially cleaned up during Champions League play, netting seven goals to add to his 13 goals in La Liga play.
To survive with a critical victory, Juventus must overcome the loss of Chiellini, who will serve a one-match ban.
Borussia Dortmund vs. Arsenal
What will happen when the Bundesliga powerhouse takes on the Premier League juggernaut?
Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal will take a break from being at or near the top of the table to clamor for control of Group F. Each squad brings immense firepower in a matchup that could heavily sway the table's outcome. Both have six points, as does Napoli.
Dortmund has striker Robert Lewandowski, who was last seen cementing a hat trick in a 6-1 onslaught over Stuttgart. The 25-year-old has notched nine goals through 11 Bundesliga matches among three more through UEFA play.
But Arsenal's roster is not too shabby either with Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey leading the way through masterful setups from newcomer Mesut Ozil.
This marquee matchup between two stalwarts should feature plenty of excitement around the net.
Barcelona vs. AC Milan
When Barcelona and AC Milan last squared off, they played to a 1-1 draw. Another stalemate should serve Barcelona, who leads Group H with seven points, but don't expect another low-scoring affair.
For Barca to purge their scoring slump, Lionel Messi must overcome a four-match scoring drought through four Primera Division games. The 26-year-old forward had previously delivered eight goals through the first six matches.
According to ESPN FC's Dermot Corrigan, the star attributed his dry spell to a thigh muscle issue.
"I am still not at 100 percent physically," Messi said, "but I am sure that with the run of games I will pick up rhythm."
Along with Neymar and Pedro, keeping Barcelona off the scoresheet will prove a tough task for AC Milan, who have not claimed a victory since drawing with Barca two weeks ago. All eyes will be fixed on the returning to Kaka to find the net for the Red and Blacks.
