Rob GoldbergNov 4, 2013

Two of the biggest clubs in Europe will face off in a Champions League battle when Juventus host Real Madrid on Tuesday.

Real had the upper hand in this matchup when these teams played last month, earning a 2-1 victory at home. With another three points, the Spanish giants can clinch a spot in the knockout stage with two matches still remaining in group play.

Of course, this will not be easy to accomplish in Juventus Stadium. The Italian club is unbeaten in six home matches this season, including five wins in Serie A.

Top Storyline: Can Diego Lopez Win the Battle of Goalkeepers?

Diego Lopez is certainly capable of greatness, but he has allowed a lot of goals to get passed him recently. In Real Madrid's last three La Liga matches, opponents have scored seven times.

Of course, he still comes through with excellent saves throughout matches, like this one:

The question is if he can remain focused throughout a match against an elite opponent and secure a clean sheet when it is needed.

It certainly will be a challenge for him to match Gianluigi Buffon, who has long been one of the best in the world at his position. The veteran has not allowed a goal in his last three starts, and he is looking to keep that streak going.

Lopez will have to be at his best to keep Real ahead.

Prediction: Real Madrid 2, Juventus 1

As good as Buffon is in net for Juventus, he will struggle against an offensive onslaught that few have seen.

While Cristiano Ronaldo was able to get two goals in the last match, neither Gareth Bale nor Isco were in the starting lineup. As these players continue to find a way to play together, it makes quite a dangerous trio.

This does not even include the skill coming from Karim Benzema, Angel di Maria and others.

With Andrea Pirlo passing the ball and Carlos Tevez and Arturo Vidal finishing, Juventus can certainly get onto the scoresheet. However, they will not be able to keep up with Real Madrid in this matchup.
