Nemanja Vidic, Danny Welbeck, Rio Ferdinand and Tom Cleverley Fitness Updates
David Moyes provided an injury update on Tuesday regarding four key Manchester United players that missed training ahead of their clash with Real Sociedad.
Nemanja Vidic, Danny Welbeck, Rio Ferdinand and Tom Cleverley all sat out of Tuesday’s session, but it is unclear whether all four will miss the Champions League visit of the La Liga side.
United enter a crucial double-header against Sociedad, having acquired four points from their opening two games of the group stage.

Only a point separates the top three in the group, so Moyes knows his team can barely afford to slip up at home to the Spanish visitors.
United’s Old Trafford form has been verging on dire this season, losing to West Brom and drawing with both Chelsea and Southampton in the league.
They did beat Bayer Leverkusen 4-2 in their only European home match under Moyes, so he will hope to repeat that victory on Wednesday.
Ferdinand has missed United’s recent matches with a groin problem, as originally reported by Shane Farrington of Goal.com, while Tom Cleverley has a calf issue according to the FA.
It would be no surprise to see both players miss the visit of Sociedad.
The absence of Vidic, though, would be a major concern for a United defence that has been porous this season. Without the towering centre-back, Moyes would be forced to use the relatively inexperienced options of Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling or Phil Jones in his back four.
Welbeck would also restrict Moyes’ attacking options were he not to be available, although the England man has hardly been in electric form this season, netting three goals in all competitions for his club.
