NFL Week 3 Highlight Tape
Week 3 of the 2013 season should be called "Woodshed Week."
Several teams were taken behind one.
There were blowouts galore, including a 38-0 waxing of the New York Giants by the Carolina Panthers that should throw the New York media into a full-on feeding frenzy.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
This isn't to say that all the games were lopsided affairs.
There was an absolute barnburner between the Green Bay Packers and the Cincinnati Bengals that saw runs of 14, 30 and 20 points before the Bengals eventually emerged with a four-point win.
There were also no shortage of big plays and performances in Week 3.
Here's a look back at some of the biggest.
The Saints Went Marching In
The Arizona Cardinals drew first blood in their matchup with the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
Then, the Saints opened the proverbial can.
New Orleans blew the Cardinals out of the Superdome Sunday, winning 34-7 to move to 3-0 this year.
Drew Brees was the catalyst of the New Orleans victory, throwing three touchdown passes and running for another.
Yeah, he's pretty good.
Oh My Eli
If Drew Brees was fantastic in Sunday's win, then New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning was equally craptastic in New York's faceplant against the Carolina Panthers.
It's bad enough that the Giants were pasted by the Panthers.
However, it gets even worse when you consider that Manning's terrible game (12-of-23, 119 yards, INT) came against a Carolina secondary that has been absolutely ravaged by injuries.
The Cleveland Browns Cannot Even Tank Right
After the Cleveland Browns traded running back Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts earlier this week, pundits such as Tony Manfred of Business Insider accused the team of throwing in the towel on the 2013 season.
If they are, someone forgot to tell quarterback Brian Hoyer, who drew the start in place of the injured Brandon Weeden.
Against the Minnesota Vikings, Hoyer threw for 321 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winner to tight end Jordan Cameron with less than a minute to play.
Hunter on the Prowl
There probably isn't a bigger surprise in the NFL year than the Tennessee Titans.
After Sunday's last-second win over the San Diego Chargers, the Titans are an overtime loss to the Houston Texans away from being 3-0 to start the year.
Wide receiver Justin Hunter was the hero against the Chargers on Sunday, reeling in a Jake Locker pass with 20 seconds left to give the Titans a 20-17 win.
A Queen City Brouhaha
We would be remiss to publish Week 3's highlight reel without including a look back at the day's best game.
Sunday's matchup between the Packers and the Bengals had it all.
The Bengals raced out to a 14-point lead, only to see the Packers answer with 30 in a row.
Game over, right?
Not so fast my friend!
The Bengals answered the call, peeling off the last 20 points of the game to escape with a 34-30 victory.
A History Lesson in the Nation's Capital
To say that the Detroit Lions have struggled in the nation's capital is a bit of an understatement.
The Lions had never beaten the Redskins in Washington heading into Sunday's showdown, a streak that extended way back to 1939.
That streak is no more.
The reeling Redskins now sit at 0-3, as their terrible defense once again allowed a team to move up and down the field without any real resistance.
Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford threw for 385 yards, wideouts Calvin Johnson and Nate Burleson each went over 100 yards and the Lions beat the Redskins 27-20 to go to 2-1.
