NFL Week 3 Picks: Predictions for Every Remaining Matchup
Week 3 of the NFL season will come to a close on Monday night when the undefeated Denver Broncos host the Oakland Raiders. But before then, football fans will be treated to 14 matchups on Sunday, six of which will feature an undefeated team in action.
The Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks will each try to advance to 3-0 at home on Sunday, while the Houston Texans and Chicago Bears will take to the road with hopes of staying perfect.
With kickoff just hours away, here are my predictions for the NFL's remaining unbeatens for every remaining Week 3 matchup.

Tennessee Titans (-3) Over San Diego Chargers
The Tennessee Titans will play at home in Nashville for the first time this season in Week 3 when they host the San Diego Chargers, who are coming off a surprising win over the Eagles in Philadelphia in Week 2.
While the Titans are 1-1, they could just as easily be 2-0 after putting a scare into division rival Houston last weekend. Tennessee lost in overtime but has rediscovered its ground game with Chris Johnson and has done some solid work defensively as well.
On the other side, San Diego's road woes have been well documented in recent seasons, and it's almost impossible to think the Bolts could start 2-0 on the road in 2013, let alone winning back-to-back games in the East.
The Chargers defense is also a serious concern. San Diego, which has let up 30 points in each of its first two games, hasn't been able to stop anyone yet this season and can't rely on its offense to outscore every opponent.
New England Patriots (-8.5) Over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The New England Patriots don't necessarily have the look of an undefeated team at the moment, but their record doesn't lie. The Pats are 2-0 and will be heavy favorites to advance to 3-0 at home this weekend.
New England will host the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team that has lost its first two games by a combined three points. Ouch. But while that statistic shows that Greg Schiano's squad is close to figuring it out, it also points to Tampa Bay's inability to get over the hump in close games.
It also doesn't help that the Bucs boast a one-dimensional offense that relies far too heavily on Doug Martin on the ground. If the Pats can crowd the box and force Josh Freeman to beat them on Sunday, they'll have a great shot to remain perfect.
I like the Pats to win another close one in Week 3.
New York Giants Over Carolina Panthers (+1)
Much like the Buccaneers, the Carolina Panthers have suffered some gut-wrenching losses to open the season, including a one-point loss at Buffalo in Week 2 following a last-second touchdown pass from Bills quarterback EJ Manuel.
Though the Giants haven't lost in such heartbreaking fashion, they find themselves 0-2 heading into Week 3 as well.
Fortunately, someone has to get their first win of the year on Sunday. I give the slight edge to New York. Although the Giants offense lacks balance, Eli Manning is a two-time Super Bowl MVP and has thrown for more than 800 yards through the first two weeks of the season.
If he can avoid careless turnovers this weekend, he has the weapons to succeed and should torch Carolina's 22nd-ranked pass defense.
