Colts vs. 49ers: TV Info, Spread, Injury Updates, Game Time and More
The Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers are two teams in similar situations entering Week 3 after disappointing showings in defeat a week ago, dropping their records to 1-1.
Now the two are set for a date at Candlestick Park in one of the week's more intriguing matchups.
San Francisco entered the season looking like the team that made it to the Super Bowl last year by beating up on Green Bay, but subsequently traveled to Seattle last week and was blown out of the water.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Things have not been as encouraging in Indianapolis. The Colts survived a scare at home from Oakland before being upset by Miami, while the defense had serious issues containing an explosive offense.
The Colts recently sent shock waves through the league after trading for Trent Richardson. While the long-term future of Richardson in Indianapolis is bright, he'll undoubtedly still be getting acclimated to the offense this week. It will be interesting to see how active of a role he plays in his first game as a Colt, though his matchup against the 49ers run defense isn't exactly favorable.
The 49ers made news of their own this week, as Aldon Smith was arrested for a DUI and marijuana possession on September 20. Smith will play Sunday, though it remains unclear as to what action the NFL will take going forward.
Both teams need a rebound performance to remain competitive in their respective divisions. There's a lot riding on the shoulders of young quarterbacks Andrew Luck and Colin Kaepernick.
Here is a full breakdown of the contest.

Can the Colts Contain Colin Kaepernick?
Above is a question NFL fans are going to ask for a very long time. It was partially answered last week as the Seattle Seahawks held Kaepernick to 214 total yards and no scores. That certainly won't be the case every week, as witnessed in Week 1 when Kaepernick torched Green Bay for 412 yards and three scores through the air.
The task now falls to a Colts defense that mightily struggled against an athlete similar to Kaepernick in Week 1. While the Raiders' Terrelle Pryor is nowhere near the passer Kaepernick is, Pryor has the ability to beat defenses with his feet.
Pryor compiled 329 total yards and one touchdown in a losing effort. The problem here is simple: Kaepernick is twice the player Pryor is, and the 49ers have a major advantage in the talent department when compared to Oakland.
After a down week, Kaepernick and Co. are sure to come out firing using the blueprint laid down by the Raiders two weeks ago. How the Colts defense responds, led by free-agent acquisition LaRon Landry, will decide the outcome.
Prediction
Jim Harbaugh may have loved Andrew Luck back at Stanford, but now he's got another favorite quarterback in Kaepernick, who is surrounded by a vastly superior San Francisco squad when compared to the Colts.
At home after a physical loss, the 49ers are going to be tough to defeat. The Colts simply don't have the man power to compete with the physicality and depth San Francisco brings to the table.
Luck has an outside chance of overcoming the 49ers if Frank Gore and Co. struggle to run the ball effectively, but that should not be a cause for concern against a defense that ranks 29th against the run.
Kaepernick and Co. score a major bounce-back victory at home.
Final Score
49ers win 38-21
