Eric Milton Gets The Start For The Los Angeles Dodgers

Marlins 6, Dodgers 3

Eric Milton started for the Dodgers on Saturday. This was his first start since 2007. Milton pitched four innings and gave up two hits and two earned runs. The Dodgers lost the game, 3-6.

I think it was a good start for Milton. Today, the Dodgers play the final game of the series against the Marlins. Xavier Paul will start in place of Andre Ethier. Looks like Casey Blake, Russell Martin, and Fucal are sitting too.

Isotopes

Dodger affiliates, the Albuquerque Isotopes, are in Fresno. They won last night. Dee Brown and Valintino Pascucci both hit two home runs each. Jaimie Hoffman failed to get a hit last night. He had hit safe in every game since being called up to replace Jason Repko who was placed on the DL.

The Isotopes are now 18-17 and 2.5 games ahead of the Red Hawks in the PCL American League South. James McDonald is scheduled to start on Monday against the Fresno Grizzles.

Isotopes starting pitcher Miguel Pinango was placed on the DL with a strained knee, and reliever Carmen Cali was moved up from Double-A Chattanooga. Also, right-handed pitcher Hyang Nam Choi, who has played Korean baseball for the last two years, has joined the Isotopes.

The Isotopes finally come home on Thursday to play Salt Lake. I can't wait to get back out to the park.
