Lions vs. Cardinals: TV Info, Spread, Injury Updates, Game Time and More
Last year the Arizona Cardinals obliterated the Detroit Lions 38-10 in Week 15 in Arizona to snap a nine-game losing streak.
Nine months and two drastically different looking teams later and the two sides are set for a rematch here in Week 2.
Detroit started things off in Week 1 with a major NFC North victory over Adrian Petersonย and the Minnesota Vikings, limiting the star running back to just 93 yards while Matt Stafford and the Lions accumulated 469 yards of total offense.

Can the Arizona Defense Contain Detroit?
Last time these two teams met, Arizona corner Patrick Peterson and the defense allowed Lions receiver Calvin Johnson to go off for 121 yards, but quarterback Matthew Stafford's three interceptions sunk the team.
This time around, Detroit has an added wrinkle on offense with the presence of the explosive Reggie Bush, who compiled 191 total yards and a touchdown last week in his debut.
The Arizona defense limited St. Louis to 67 yards on the ground, but containing Bush is a different beast entirely.
A major component to defeating the Lions is putting pressure on Stafford, which is something the team failed to do against St. Louis last week as it tallied no sacks and Sam Bradford torched the defense for 299 yards and two scores.ย
If the Arizona defense looks more like the unit from Week 15 last year than the one that took the field in St. Louis last week, then the Cardinals should be able to defend their home turf well.
Prediction
The Detroit offense needed a specific piece from a missing formula to put the unit over the top. More often than not, if Calvin Johnson only recorded 37 receiving yards in a contest, it spelled doom for the Lions.
Not anymore. That's exactly what happened in Week 1, but Bush propelled the team to victory as the main option on offense.
As sound as the Arizona passing attack is with Palmer under center, the lack of a legitimate running threat means the Cardinals will not only be one-dimensional, but they will also be forced into a shootout.
Add in pass-rushers like Nick Fairley and Ndamukong Suh coming after the immobile Palmer and it's going to be a long day in the desert for the Cardinals offense.
With weapons like Bush and Megatron, Stafford isn't losing a shootout with Arizona in 2013.
Final Scoreย
Lions win 30-27
