Terrelle Pryor Breaks Raiders' QB Rushing Record vs. Colts
Terrelle Pryor only needed three quarters to break the Oakland Raiders' record for single-game rushing yards for a quarterback. The Raiders Twitter account shared the news:
Going into the fourth quarter, the third-year quarterback had run for 104 yards on 11 carries. He had also thrown for 133 yards on 14-of-20 passing. At that point, the Raiders were down 14-10 to the Indianapolis Colts.
Coming out of Ohio State, everybody knew Pryor could run the football. The question was whether or not he could be an NFL-caliber quarterback. Oakland took a bit of a gamble by drafting him in the third round of the 2011 supplemental draft. If Pryor can put in performances like these, it will have been a gamble that paid off in spades.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
With the success of the read-option offense last season, it's easy to see why Oakland ultimately chose Pryor as its starting quarterback for 2013. He's a good passer and brings that extra rushing element that few other QBs offer, and he offers some excitement to the position.
Fox Sports' Jay Glazer thought Pryor might have felt left out as many fans and experts were highlighting Robert Griffin III, Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson this offseason.
What has been more important for Pryor today is his poise in the pocket. As his numbers would attest, he has been very consistent with his throws and made the right decisions. NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah noted how Pryor's mobility allowed him to scramble away from the rush and create more time to throw.
With a performance such as this one, the Raiders could very well have found their quarterback of the future.
