The final Grand Slam tennis tournament of the year is starting to heat up, so here are the full predictions for the rest of the 2013 U.S. Open.
Both the men's and women's draws have gone as expected for the most part with the top seeds still in it, meaning there should be great tennis the rest of the way.
Let's take a look at how the final rounds of the 2013 U.S. Open will play out.

Men's Singles
Semifinals
No. 1 Novak Djokovic will take on No. 3 Andy Murray in one men's semifinal while No. 2 Rafael Nadal will face No. 4 David Ferrer in the other men's semifinal.
It's not going out on a limb to say that those four men are playing well right now. At this point, they each have their eyes set on the prize.
Of the four, Djokovic has the easiest road to the semifinals, but Murray will be challenged in the quarterfinals. He will have to face either No. 5 Tomas Berdych or No. 9 Stanislas Wawrinka in that round.
Djokovic has won 11 of 19 meetings against Murray, but he won't be able to come out on top this time in their semifinal. All signs point to Murray winning this matchup. He won the most recent meeting between the two and is the defending champion at the U.S. Open.
Nadal owns a 20-4 advantage over Ferrer, including winning each of their last nine matches. Nadal is playing at a high level right now and Ferrer will be lucky to keep it competitive. Ferrer struggled to put away No. 18 Janko Tipsarevic in the fourth round, but managed to advance.
Finals
Here is where the tournament doesn't go as expected.
Murray will upset Djokovic in the semifinals to break Djokovic's run of three consecutive appearances in the U.S. Opens finals.
The bottom of the draw will go as expected, as Nadal will top Ferrer. Nadal has already won the 2013 French Open and the Western and Southern Open. He is playing well right now and there is nothing holding him back from fighting for another title.
Murray, this year's champ at Wimbledon, will look to defend his 2012 U.S. Open title. Unfortunately, he won't be able to pull off another upset.
Nadal is 13-5 against Murray, but Murray won the last meeting between the two back in 2011. He was also credited with a victory over Nadal after Nadal had to withdraw from an event last year.
At the end of the week, Nadal will have his second Grand Slam title of the year.
Prediction: Nadal defeats Murray
Women's Singles
Semifinals
No. 1 Serena Williams will continue her great run and make it to the semifinals where she will take on No. 5 Li Na. On the other side of the draw, No. 2 Victoria Azarenka will face No. 10 Roberta Vinci.
Williams is 8-1 against Li and Williams has won seven straight meetings, including two this year. Li took Williams to 7-5, 7-5 in Cincinnati, Ohio, in the Western and Southern Open. It was a tough match, but the top player in the world was able to come out on top.
Azarenka is 3-0 against Vinci and that trend will continue. The No. 2 player is looking for a shot to knock off her rival in the finals. She will get a chance to do so after defeating Vinci.
Finals
No. 1 against No. 2 is what everyone wants to see and the U.S. Open women's final will be an encore of Cincinnati.
Williams won the 2013 French Open and the 2012 U.S. Open. She is the best player in the world for a reason, so it is tough to imagine her losing to the same opponent in back-to-back tournament finals.
Williams is 12-3 against Azarenka, but has struggled with her rival in their recent meetings. Azarenka has won two of their three meetings this year although they have alternated wins in their past four matches.
The loser of the previous meeting in this series has been able to make adjustments and win the next match. That happens to be Williams this time around.
Azarenka has won two Grand Slam titles—the last two Australian Opens—in her career. She made it to the U.S. Open finals last year, but lost to Williams.
All signs again point to Williams, who is still playing at an extremely high level. She has easily won all eight sets in this year's U.S. Open and nobody has made her work yet, so she will be fresh and ready to go with a title on the line.
Prediction: Williams over Azarenka
