Alex Roidriguez:

Guilty of steroid use.

Poor in the clubhouse.

Poor defense.

Beginning to age.

Doesn't hit too well.

Needs to go!

Alex Rodriguez may be a great hitter, but he is definitely not what the Yankees need.  The Yankees need some defense, a good, reliable outfielder, and a good pitcher.

Trade A-Rod and we can get everything on the list.

Watch this trade idea to the Phillies:

A-Rod for:

Rauuuuul Ibanez (Reliable OF)

Jimmy Rollins (Defense)

Jamey Moyer (and a good pitcher)

That's just one idea. I'd say it works well. 

Now, if you want to gear towards youth, here's another idea:

A-Rod to the Tigers for:

Curtis Granderson (Reliable OF)

Ramon Santiago  (Defense)

Armando Galarraga  (and a good pitcher)

A reliever (Zumaya/Rincon)

This trade will make the Yankees a better team, so why not do it?
