WWE RAW Rewind: The Animal Unleashes His Fury
RAW kicks off in Columbus, OH with the arrival of the WWE Champion Randy Orton. Orton comes out and calls the Buckeye Nation cowards because they pay to live their lives through guys like him. He then shows footage of the carnage from last week.
After the footage, Orton and his Legacy cronies are in the ring still running their mouths about how they run the business. So Orton calls out The Animal, who wastes no time in making his way down to ringside.
After Batista makes his way into the ring, Orton returns to his “I’m Ruler of the World” speech. He tells Batista that he will not win the WWE Championship...ever. He then offers Batista a spot in Legacy, even though Dave isn’t a second or third generation superstar.

But Vickie and her pathetic timing comes out and breaks up the party before it gets started.
Vickie decides to waive the no contact rule. She then announces that Batista will face Rhodes and DiBiase, and if they win, it will be a three on one handicap match. But if Batista wins, he gets Orton one on one tonight. With that, Orton leaves the ring.
Handicap Match (If Batista wins, he gets Orton. If Legacy wins, it will be a three-on-one handicap match) Batista vs. Priceless

The duo begin to focus on the left leg of Batista. The duo makes frequent tags to keep the pressure on The Animal. But The Animal fights back with a set of clotheslines on Rhodes.
Following a big boot, Rhodes brings in a chair. Batista swings the chair, but never connects. Unfortunately, the ref turns around just in time to disqualify Batista and give Legacy the advantage tonight.
Following a look at last week’s upset, Divas Champion Maryse is in the ring speaking bad French and making excuses for her loss last week to Mickie James.

After the bell, Kendrick promises that after he finds a partner, he intends to become one-half of the Unified Tag Team Champions.
John Cena vs. The Miz
The Big Show comes down to get a “closer” look at the next match between The Miz and John Cena. The Miz comes out and begins talking smack to Cena even before he hits the ring. The Exhibition Match begins with Cena getting a quick takedown on the Ohio native.
After a headlock takedown, The Miz fires back with a back suplex followed by a series of snap suplexes. He then hits the corner clothesline, much to the joy of Big Show. He goes for another shot, but Cena ducks the splash and hits the Beantown Bomb followed by the Five-Knuckle Shuffle.
As he goes for the Attitude Adjustment, Vickie stops the Exhibition Match and says that he has no chance against the Big Show. Miz comes from behind and drops Cena with a DDT. Following the attack, Big Show looks into the ring and smiles at the anarchy left by The Miz.
In the back, Orton and Rhodes come up with a gameplan: Cody has to take out Batista...now.

Intermission: MVP’s VIP Lounge
The United States Champion calls out the man who cost him a match last week: William Regal. Regal comes out and begins to insult MVP. He also insults the other draft picks for trying to pass him in the pecking order. As he tries to insult the United States, the Buckeye Nation makes it clear what they think of him.
But as Regal prepares to fight, Matt Hardy comes out and makes his way into the Lounge. Hardy picks up where he left off by complaining about having to compete with a broken hand.
He then challenges MVP for the United States Championship. But as he shoots off at Regal, Kofi Kingston comes down and gets some retribution on Hardy. Chavo then comes out and makes it a tag match: Matt and Regal vs. Kofi and MVP.
Matt Hardy & William Regal vs. Kofi Kingston & MVP
As the show returns, MVP and Regal are battling it out with MVP getting the advantage. Kingston comes in and levels Matt with a dropkick. Kingston drops the Boom-Three Elbow before Matt drops him with his cast. Hardy comes in, and despite having only one arm, takes the fight to Kingston with an abdominal stretch.
Regal comes in and levels Kingston with a series of knees. Regal and Hardy continue the pressure with frequent tags. Kingston fights out of another abdominal stretch, only to get caught by Regal in the corner.
Kingston fights back with the head scissors and manages to tag in MVP. MVP drops him with a knee followed by a Ballin’ Elbow.
The match breaks down as Hardy and Kingston go to the outside. MVP nails the Drive By followed by The Playmaker to get the victory for his team as Hardy sprints to the back holding his injured arm.
In the back, Randy Orton makes his way to the ring...alone.
After showing footage of last week’s chaotic finale to RAW, we are “graced” with the presence of the WWE Champion.
Randy Orton (and possibly Rhodes and DiBiase) vs. Batista
Before the bell, Orton tries to con his way out of fighting Batista. As Orton tries to leave the ring, Batista makes his way down to the ring for his shot at redemption with his former Evolution member.
Batista blocks an RKO attempt to drop Orton with a clothesline. After stopping an escape attempt, Batista drops him with a pair of spine busters. Batista then grabs a chair and plays home run derby on the WWE Champion.
He slams the chair on the leg of Orton before dropping the chair and grabbing the steel steps. Batista brings the steps in, but slams a steel chair on Orton’s ankle for good measure before grabbing the steel steps. But before the steps could come into play, Legacy makes their way into the ring.
Batista drops Rhodes with a Batista Bomb and DiBiase with a Spear as Orton slinks his way out of the ring. Batista delivers one more exclamation point by throwing the steel steps towards an injured Orton.
The Animal screams “You’re done. You’re done.” towards the WWE Champion as RAW goes off the air.
