Report: Stacy Keibler in Rumored WWE Negotiations, Returning as Bryan's Manager

Gone Baby GoneJun 3, 2018

Huge news on the WWE front, as it appears former Diva Stacy Keibler may be returning to the WWE to manage one of the company’s biggest stars, Daniel Bryan.

Roughly one week ago, Keibler was interviewed by SiriusXM personality Sam Roberts. During the interview, she denied a return to the company.

According to a new Splash video report posted over at Showbiz.Canoe.ca, former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler is entertaining offers from WWE to return to the company.

The report, which came via The UK Sun, claims WWE wants to team Keibler up with Daniel Bryan.

"

If this were to happen, it would be a huge boost to the Divas division. At 33, not only is she still young enough to compete, but she also has enough experience to help out the younger stars.

It would also give the WWE some mainstream press, as Keibler is the most recent cast-off of A-lister George Clooney. Keep in mind, the report did not mention when she would be returning if the two sides agreed to a deal; however, I am certain she wouldn’t be back until 2014 in order to help with the WrestleMania XXX push.

The fact is if she were to come back sooner, it really wouldn’t help the WWE in terms of 2013 pay-per-view buys. However, a return prior to ‘Mania could definitely bolster the company’s biggest pay-per-view of the year and give Keibler a chance to prove her worth.

Personally, I don’t see the benefit of her teaming up with Bryan—especially considering how over he is and how well he works on the mic. That being said, I highly doubt that the WWE would bring her back without some sort of plan in place, so anything is possible.

In the end, fans shouldn't get too excited, as we are still in the rumor stages here, so who knows if this will actually happen.
