Top Matches to Watch
WWE Championship (All Stars) Money in the Bank Ladder Match
In the most decorated Money in the Bank match in WWE history, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Christian and Rob Van Dam will square off for the chance to win the WWE Championship briefcase.
While Kane was originally part of this match, he was ruled out for the event after the brutal attack by the Wyatt family, per Mitch Passero of WWE.com. While the company hasn’t named a replacement, the possibility of another wrestler joining the match is very high.
Look for a superstar like Brock Lesnar to be named as the seventh combatant.
Even if the WWE chooses to not add another wrestler to the match, the star power already involved and the possible storylines that could come to fruition make this one of the most exciting matches in years.
Add in the ladder match stipulation, and this will be a night to remember.
World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match
The best part of the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank ladder match is that any participant could conceivably win. This allows for speculation and rumors to run rampant.
The crowd will find a favorite amongst Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Dean Ambrose, Fandango, Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro, and as the match continues the wrestler that wins the briefcase will be transformed into a star.
The Philadelphia crowd will make it easy for the WWE to turn the winner of this match face.
With the ability to hold the briefcase for awhile and let it help the eventual winner get over with the crowd as a title contender, the star that goes on to win this match—no matter which of the seven heels is victorious—will reach main-event level in 2013.
Chris Jericho vs. Ryback
While there is a strong contingent of fans that don’t find any interest in this match, Chris Jericho vs. Ryback has the potential to be one of the most interesting matches of the night.
Ryback has been playing up the fact that his character is willing to quit in the ring and look weak. Jericho doesn’t need a win here, so how the WWE gives Ryback the victory will be intriguing.
Add in the possible inclusion of Vickie Guerrero as Ryback’s manager, and this bout could further a major storyline heading into SummerSlam.
Beating Y2J will be the first step in returning to the main event for Ryback.
