Could Brad Maddox Get Involved at Money in the Bank?
In the modern-day world of WWE pay-per-views, general managers tend not to make much of an appearance at the event, and understandably so.
GMs are often featured in WWE shows to change or alter a match, but when your audience is solely consistent of people who have paid their hard-earned cash just to watch the event, you don't want to be changing what they're expecting to watch. And you rarely see a match added to the card the night of an event, as it's always better to promote matches beforehand.
This Sunday, however, may be a little different.

Takeaways From SNME 44 ➡️
Brad Maddox being named Raw's new general manager can potentially become a stroke of genius, but his off-kilter personality and unpredictable nature need to remain in tact for that to happen—and what better way to continue his momentum than making himself an important figure at Money in the Bank?
It's almost a certainty that Kane will not feature on Sunday after the attack by the debuting Wyatt Family on Raw, considering the recent updates on Kane's medical condition via WWE.com.
That being said, Kane could well refuse to listen to those telling him he's not medically cleared to compete and show up in Philadelphia ready to fight. That's where Maddox could come in, pleading with Kane not to compete with the words "talent welfare" ringing in his ears. Kane may refuse, but Maddox could have him escorted from the building—something along those lines, at least.
But that still leaves a problem. The new GM may want to try and make sure that the All-Stars Money in the Bank Ladder Match doesn't lose its super-main-event feel and may go looking to find someone worthy of filling in Kane's spot.
Enter the Wyatt Family.
Probably in some darkened area of the Wells Fargo Center, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper manage to corner Maddox, and then Bray Wyatt appears from the shadows and, in a nutshell, scares Brad out of his tweed suit. We've seen before that Maddox can be easily intimidated, so after a remarkable, creepy and poignant spiel by Wyatt, we hear the "What do you want from me?!" line, and just like that, Bray Wyatt takes his place in the Money in the Bank All-Stars Ladder Match.
That idea does have its downsides, like potentially taking some of the interest away from the triumphant return of Rob Van Dam, but there are some other—more realistic—ways that Maddox could involve himself this Sunday.
We already know about the GM's refereeing experience, so maybe he'll step in and referee a match that he feels could boil over, such as the Divas title rematch between AJ and Kaitlyn. This particular feud has been a step up from many that we've seen in the Divas division, and the involvement of Maddox in this match could be what it needs to make it a truly successful ending to the storyline.
Maddox could even join Cole, Lawler and JBL at ringside for commentary, or maybe we'll see him in a confrontation with someone he's crossed paths with in his way to the top, such as CM Punk, The Shield or Ryback. In my opinion, I think that if we see Brad Maddox at least at some point at Money in the Bank, it will stand him in good stead for the coming weeks.
