5 Most Out-of-Shape Wrestlers from WWE, TNA and Ring of Honor

Alex MussoJun 6, 2018

First of all, Rikishi is not on this list. But who doesn't want a stinkface now and again?  Anyways, what you will find in the next few slides are the five most out of shape wrestlers in the business today. Well, at least in WWE, TNA, and Ring of Honor.

In today's wrestling environment, most wrestlers are in at least decent shape. But the next five people are the exception to that rule. Read on and see who made the list.

No. 5: The Rock

1 of 5

I know that saying The Rock is out of shape is going to cause waves. But the fact remains that in the last few matches he's had, he's looked tired.

It's no secret that he works out a lot; I mean, the guy is jacked. But he looks to be all power and no stamina. Heck, even a former WWE writer thought he was gassed in his latest match with John Cena.

Now I'm not saying The Rock can't wrestle. He clearly still can. But with several high-profile matches this year alone showcasing how quickly he can burn out earned The Rock a spot on this list.

No. 4: Sting

2 of 5

Just in case you don't watch TNA (and chances are good you don't), Sting still wrestles. Yes, the same Sting that hung out in the rafters on WCW television 15 years ago.

Sting is 54 years old, and was TNA World Heavyweight Champion less than two years ago at age 52. While it is pretty cool that one of the last vestiges of the Monday Night War is still going at it in the ring at a high level, in recent years Sting has started to show his age.

He wears out faster, wrestles less, and wears a t-shirt in the ring to try and hide his growing belly. While that may not be a big surprise for a person at age 54, since he's still an active member of the TNA roster, he qualifies at out of shape.

No. 3: Hulk Hogan

3 of 5

I cringe in writing this slide. Many of you may wonder why Hogan, a non-wrestler, is on this list. Well, rumor has it he's lobbying for a match with Bully Ray, and Bully Ray wants Hogan in the ring, too.

With that in mind and knowing Hogan, this match will happen. Whether or not it's for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship is up for debate. And while I am not as opposed to a Hogan match as some other fans, God help TNA if Hogan ever holds the strap again.

Hogan has had surgery on his back, hips, and knees. He's more machine now, than man. He can barely move. And since it seems that he'll be in a match sooner or later, he's still a wrestler. And he's in absolutely no condition to wrestle another match.

No. 2: Kevin Steen

4 of 5

Kevin who? I get it; Ring of Honor barely makes news these days unless their iPPV fails. But many notable stars in wrestling today are Ring of Honor Alumni, including Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, and CM Punk, just to name a few.

Kevin Steen is, right now, one of Ring of Honor's top stars. But he's also just flat-out fat. There's just no other way to put it. His gut is unmissable. That being said, he is one hell of a wrestler. But he's still fat. And that's why he earned a spot on this list.

No. 1: The Great Khali

5 of 5

I actually feel bad for Khali. He's a huge man, and a former world champion. But watching Khali walk is just, well, painful.

He looks like he can barely move, and when wrestling he looks as though he's in constant pain. In fact, Hornswoggle, Khali's companion, noted on Busted Open that Khali is in constant pain.

Khali, as a full-time active wrestler, is by far the most out-of-shape wrestler in pro wrestling today.
