My First Game at a New Home In The Bronx's

matthew longoMay 2, 2009

I went on Friday night to go to see the Yankees Face off the LAA. Its was the not the Greatest night because it was raining off and on all night.I walk into the new Yankees stadium. You could still smell the paint on the walls and see all the great Yankees player posted around inside the stadium.

The Game start off good with four runs in the 1st,then after a few innings that Yankees and the angels were not scoring any runs. Andy Pettitte was pitch a good game until it start to rain heavy. After the rain had slow down Pettitte start to give up some hit and some runs. The angels had tie the game and the next inning the angels took the lead with three run lead on the Yankees.

In the bottom the ninth the Yankees and its fans rally with hit after hit until base were load and Posada hit a game winning run.

As a Yankee fan and seen the best game that anyone could see to Game win runs or A-rod hit a three run shot after the team rally with runs or Giambi get off the bench and hit a home run and a game winning run or a game were Mike Mussina pitching a good game twice against Boston. The old stadium miss and it sad.

As after look at the new stadium and walking out of the new stadium i saw an old stadium sitting across the street with its lights on and just look at the coner of left flied it brought sadness to me, because their was so much history in that stadium. 26 world series champs and the best players from Ruth to Jeter.

Even reembarking the the smell of the hot and beer or bob Sheppard voice that is missing with the new Yankees stadium.but time will come and go that reembarking some that was great and the best. That one day i could tell my children that the times the fan rally for johnny Damon or Derek Jeter or when we were down runs that the fans will chance their names or the times that bob Sheppard would call out each Yankees player name and then their number.

Every time that i walk out of the new home of the Yankees and seeing a part of Yankees History across from me. That a flash back if my time of remebers of an old staduim will be with me and the times that i enjoy being a Yankee fan and the other fans.
