How the Rock and Mark Wahlberg Got Jacked for 'Pain and Gain'

Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Anthony Mackie had the task of swelling to enormous proportions for the upcoming Pain and Gain

Consider this video but a small tutorial on how to get absolutely jacked. As it were, getting this look is far easier than you might think.

Just eat ridiculous amounts of calories and work out until complete exhaustion. Now repeat every day for weeks and you should begin to see some results.

Sounds like far too much work for me, so I will live vicariously through the actors here and just take in their antics when the film opens on April 26.

If there is any part of these extreme workouts I might be in for, it would have to be the "growth naps" Johnson mentions at the start of the video.

You almost feel for Mackie who had no shot competing with WWE superstar, The Rock. "And then Dwayne is built like the Eiffel Tower. And Mark had been working our for two months, and I'm sitting down curling Twinkies, watching The Price is Right."

The most remarkable transformation had to be Wahlberg, who proclaims he went from 165 pounds in his last movie to a whopping 205 pounds of pure muscle in an astounding seven weeks.

Now, the 40 minutes you spent on the treadmill this week doesn't seem so remarkable.

The movie, according to IMDB, centers around bodybuilders who get "caught up in an extortion ring and a kidnapping scheme that goes terribly wrong."

With Michael Bay at the helm, we can assume there will be massive explosions, low-angle shots spinning around the actors and, because of some hard work in the gym, plenty of bare-chested celebrities showing off their newly-chisled physiques.
