Just released, the finalists for the cover of Madden 2010. The list includes Larry Fitzgerald, Troy Polamalu, Ben Roethlisberger, Brandon Jacobs, Adrian Peterson, Demarcus Ware, Peyton Manning, Ed Reed, and Matt Cassel.

Some rumors were recently started saying both Larry Fitzgerald and Troy Polamalu could be featured on the cover together. That would be the first time in the history of the NFL that this would happen.

It is nice that two Steelers are being recognized, but we, the fans, decline respectfully.

Over the past few years, every player to be featured on the Madden cover have done, well...terrible. It would be devastating to see another great player have their career flushed down the toilet because of the Madden Curse.

If both Fitzgerald and Polamalu are featured on the cover, it would ruin the careers of two players. The problem is that you can't put a player on the cover without knowing the consequences. You also can't put John Madden on the cover, he'd probably croak.

The best idea to solve the Madden Curse is to place the logos of the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, and Cincinnati Bengals on the cover.

Not only would this be exciting and different, it would guarantee the Steelers the AFC North crown. That is the way to solve the curse.
