Ryback vs. Mark Henry: Battle of Goliaths Must Serve as Launching Pad for Pushes
At WrestleMania 29, we witnessed a battle between two of the most powerful wrestlers in WWE history. When it was all said and done, Mark Henry pinned Ryback, but The Human Wrecking Ball exacted revenge with a post-match brawl.
With the battle of the Goliaths behind us, WrestleMania must now serve as a launching pad for their respective pushes.
Henry was a dominant force. From the sound of the opening bell, he controlled Ryback and never once allowed him to gain full control of the momentum.

Even when Ryback managed to get him up onto his shoulders for the Shell Shocked, Henry collapsed onto Ryback's spine and covered him for the fundamental three-count. That presented Henry with the opportunity for advancement after earning a signature win.
Or so we thought.
Henry returned to the ring after the match, looking to inflict more damage on his muscular rival. Just as The World's Strongest Man attempted to follow up his win with an even more devastating beatdown, however, Ryback fought back.
That wasn't the issue, though—it was all about how he fought back.
Ryback took full control of Henry, despite losing the match in one-sided action, lifting him up onto his shoulders and planting him into the mat with the Shell Shocked.
From winner to laid out cold, Henry's momentum was crushed.
As the WWE moves forward, they must not allow such a controversial ending to dictate the future of these two men. Instead, it would behoove the WWE to push both of these men in separate feuds.
Capitalize on their status as two of the company's great Goliaths and present them with opportunities for advancement.
Henry is 41, which suggests that his days as a full-time performer might be numbered. For that reason, it could be time for the WWE to place a title on Henry and watch the story lines grow.
Ryback, 31, has a bright future ahead of him as the organization's fastest rising powerhouse wrestler. With the WWE opting to force him in a heel role, one thing is certain.
They must not waste this opportunity to push both men as far as possible.
