WWE Wrestlemania 2013: Stars Who Need Strongest Showings at Event
Dolph Ziggler needs to be one of the biggest winners at WrestleMania XXIX.
You'd be forgiven if you forgot Ziggler has the Money in the Bank briefcase. Each and every show, he carries the case along with him, yet he's failed to actually cash it in and try to win the World Heavyweight title. There have been some close calls, but he's been stopped before any match can officially get underway.
He's still got until Money in the Bank 2013 in July when the briefcase would become worthless. Ziggler is going to get his title shot sooner or later.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Ziggler has become a bit marginalized over the last month or so by having good matches on Raw, only to then lose. In order to have fans take his possible title reign seriously, WWE needs to build him up pretty strong.
That push can get reignited at WrestleMania. Along with Ziggler, here are three other stars who need to look very good on Sunday.
Fandango
It's ridiculous that Johnny Curtis is being hit with the "You can't wrestle" chants, but at least he's getting a reaction from the crowd. Fandango is managing to get more heat from the crowd than the Jack Swagger/Alberto Del Rio feud is.
There's no question that Fandango can wrestle. But with a gimmick as a ballroom-dancing Lothario, there's the threat that he'll just become a joke, a la the dancing dinosaur Brodus Clay.
He's in a great position at WrestleMania, going against Chris Jericho. It shouldn't be a problem considering Jericho has made countless guys look good in the ring.
Fandango doesn't have to win, but he at least needs to be presented as a viable threat. That would be a major step toward legitimacy because let's not forget he hasn't even wrestled a match on WWE television outside NXT.
Ryback
Ryback will be carrying a massive weight on his shoulders Sunday. That weight will of course be Mark Henry, "the world's strongest man."
Whether or not Ryback can Shell Shock Henry is one of the biggest questions of WrestleMania's midcard matches. Putting the two wrestlers together is an easy, yet effective move for WWE. It's always fun to watch two big guys going at it.
But their match can take a turn for the worse if Ryback botches the final move of the match.
The company will likely give Ryback a major push after WrestleMania. As a result, it will want to have him come off as strong as possible at the biggest event of the year.
Hitting the Shell Shock without a hitch will give Ryback that all-important WrestleMania moment that will replayed over and over again.
The Shield
Considering how infrequently The Shield actually wrestles as a group, each match carries with it an abundance of importance.
Much like the Fandango-Jericho match, The Shield's WrestleMania debut doesn't have to be a win. It's all about getting the group to come off strong against three of WWE's biggest stars. The Shield has already done it before, but it's been at lesser PPVs, and WWE is notorious for its short-term memory.
It would also be a bad move to have one of Sheamus, Randy Orton or Big Show turn heel and reveal himself as the leader of The Shield. Then the group becomes less about fighting injustice and ruining WWE and more about being flunkies for a top heel.
Fans need to continue seeing Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns look strong against top stars.
