Bleacher Report: The Best of the Young Writers

I read an article recently (And the Bleacher Report Awards Go To...) and in the comments section, I saw a comment asking where the love for the young blood was.

Being 16 myself, I find myself reading plenty of articles by young writers like myself, and seeing some of us reach Top Writer status in certain sports.

I decided to highlight some of the other talented young writers that you may or may not have heard of, but you will definitely see them in the near future.

Sean Stancill

I swear that Sean lives on this website.  Since joining the site just two months ago, he has written 105 articles, reached Senior Writer Status, and is currently the No. 3 writer for the NBA.

He's got 11 fans and has given out 122 comments.

He has also written articles that have gotten publicity in other places.

His article "College Baskeball's All Left-Handed Team" was featured in Sports Illustrated's On Campus section.

He reigns from the fourth most dangerous city in America (Oakland) and shows plenty of promise for the future. 

Andrew Kneeland

Andrew also joined this site two months ago.  In that time he has written 74 articles, given out 301 comments, and has had two Articles of the Day.

He's got 38 fans and loves to give out feedback in articles.

He mostly writes about the NFL and admits that he might just love the offseason more than the regular season.

When he's not running track or cross-country for his high school, he is immersed in his Minnesota sports, but he loves his Creator, Jesus Christ, more.

Divya Parmar

Divya knows my pain firsthand.  He has had a ton of criticism from the greatly loved (I hope you can see feel the sarcasm through the computer) Anonymous.

He breaks down the NBA MVP so that you know all the statistics involved, yet people still blast him when he doesn't throw out his opinion.

When he does endorse a candidate, the Anonymous commenters come out in droves to try to do their best to bring him down.

But he stays strong, and is now the No. 4 writer for the NBA. 

He also has written 21 articles, given out 189 comments, has one Article of the Day, and has six fans, all in just one month.

Alex Kennedy

Alex has the most experience as an actual writer. 

Although he has only been a member of this website for one month, he also writes for realgm.com (I hate to mention other websites in Bleacher Report), where he gets media credentials and has been able to interview superstar players (Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard, Tim Duncan, and Chris Bosh, to name a few).

He has written 12 articles, posted 142 comments, has had two Articles of the Day, and has 18 fans.

His article "A Day in the Life of a Sports Writer: Covering the Orlando Magic" gave real insight on what it was like to actually go to a game, interview players, and sit with other members of the media.

He shows a lot of promise and already has some real life experience.

After much debate with myself, I have decided not to include myself in this article, but if you want to know more about me, check out my page.
