What's St. Louis Rams Football Going To Do This Season.
The St. Louis Rams have the second pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. They are right behind The Detroit Lions, who had the worst season in NFL history.
But back to business.
They might not have had that bad of a record, if a few bounces would have went their way, but they finished the regular season with a record of 2-14.
I remember the day I became a fan of the Rams. I was flipping through channels on TV, and it was football season. I remember seeing Marshal Faulk just burning a trail down the field.
They went onto win that game, and what a game it was.
Well, Faulk retired, I believe it was a year or two later that we lost Kurt Warner and now, this past season, we released Torry Holt.
What's going on?
So the question returns, what is St. Louis going to do different this season.
Well, they lost to every opponent besides Dallas and Washington.
They can improve just about everywhere. QB Marc Bulger only completed about 57 percent of his passes over the past season. He also threw 13 interceptions over the season.
QB play could improve a little bit for starters.
RB Steven Jackson did ok with seven touchdowns, but they could improve on the other runners on their team.
WR Torry Holt is gone, but Bulger said previously that he wasn't worried about him effecting the performance of the team.
"Who will you throw to now that he's gone?" a reporter asked.
"Whoever is out there," Bulger responded. "But they could maybe pick someone up in the draft for that position. Who, I don't know. That's for the team to decide."
All I have to say is that hopefully the team will have a better season in 09-10.
