Rhodes Scholars Broken Up

Yes, I do.

Breaking up the team was inevitable. Teams or stables in wrestling are created and broken up with the intent of building up the talents so they can survive as singles stars.

Breaking up Rhodes Scholars right now is too early.

There was so much more WWE could have done with the dynamic of the two characters. I especially can't believe they didn't let Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow have one run with the tag titles. At least let them have a reign so they can forever brag and put the titles on their resumes.

The year of 2012 saw a lot of progression in the growth of the tag division in WWE. It would seem Kane and Daniel Bryan are getting closer to being broken up. I agree with that happening because WWE has done everything they could do and then some. Breaking up Team Hell No is all the more reason to let Rhodes Scholars stay together. It would be their spotlight to stand in and their division to carry in 2013.

WWE should do any show they think can fill a stadium, in one. I've loved the company's tradition with Madison Square Garden holding WrestleMania every 10 years. However, I fully understand if WrestleMania 30 breaks the MSG tradition and is held in a stadium.

It's all about the money.

WWE will need The Rock, Brock Lesnar and other mainstream names to be on the card if it wants to successfully hold SummerSlam in a stadium. I think an interesting cross-promotion venture would be if WWE combined the concept of a wrestling pay-per-view with a concert.

Back in December, the company produced the pay-per-view for The Rolling Stones concert. I think being in Hollywood for SummerSlam in August, with a music festival that leads into a wrestling pay-per-view, both in a stadium, could work. The concept is a guarantee to get the attention of the mainstream outlets. It gives SummerSlam a new life and energy. The same has been done for WrestleMania and all the events surrounding it.

SummerSlam in a stadium would bring back some of the prestige I think the summer classic has lost over the years.

Jack Swagger as a Face

No, I think Jack Swagger returning as a face would have been a mistake.

Legitimately getting over as a face is hard. You can be a cheap face who gets cheap pops because the heel you're going against is hated, but that fan reaction is over once the match with the heel is over.

Legitimately getting over is being able to walk out to the ring for a promo and get a huge positive reaction from the crowd.

Legitimately getting over as a heel isn't a piece of cake but it's easier. Swagger is a tough guy in real life. I would put money on Swagger winning a real fight with anyone on the WWE roster.

I like the facials, new look and intensity Swagger has returned with. This provides an easy target for the audience to dislike. If Swagger came back and tried to pander to the crowd―I don't think the fans would buy it. Swagger as a face would have quickly stopped the momentum of his return.

Time will tell if WWE wants to put forth all of the effort necessary to keep Jack Swagger as a top star. If Swagger is on the WrestleMania 29 card, that will say a lot about WWE's investment this time around.

If Swagger isn't on the card...you can probably figure out the rest.
