Texas Football Recruiting: Meet All 2013 Commits
The Texas Longhorns football program is going to get a huge boost from its 2013 recruiting class.
Mack Brown and his staff have done a great job putting together this class, and they've brought in some very talented recruits.
Texas was able to land a few star recruits, and that's especially true on the offensive line.
The Longhorns' line of the future is going to be very strong, and a few players from this class will play a huge part in that success.
Overall, the future is very bright.
Let's meet the Longhorns' 2013 recruiting class:

Jake Raulerson
1 of 15Weight: 260 lbs.
Position: C
Stars: 4-star
High School: Celina High School (TX)
Other Finalists: Stanford, Baylor, Florida, Arkansas, Auburn
Commit Date: 2/3/12, Enrolled: 1/14/13
Analysis:
Raulerson is going to end up being a very important recruit for Texas. He's ranked as the No. 2 center recruit in the country according to the 247Sports Composite, so he obviously has a ton of potential. Look for Raulerson to back up Dominic Espinosa and then take over once he moves on.
Tyrone Swoopes
2 of 15Weight: 230 lbs.
Position: ATH/QB
Stars: 4-star
High School: Whitewright High School (TX)
Senior Stats: 873 YD, 9 TD, 1,187 RUYD, 16 RUTD
Other Finalists: Baylor
Commit Date: 2/17/12, Enrolled: 1/14/13
Analysis
Tyrone Swoopes could be the next great quarterback for Texas, but it's going to take him some time to get there.
The word to concentrate on with him is potential, because he has a ton of it. He has tremendous size, great mobility in and out of the pocket but he also has a very strong arm. With the David Ash and Case McCoy both capable of starting now, look for Swoopes to take a redshirt season.
Deoundrei Davis
3 of 15Weight: 210 lbs.
Position: OLB
Stars: 4-star
High School: Cypress Woods High School (TX)
Other Finalists: N/A
Commit Date: 2/26/12, Enrolled: 1/14/13
Analysis
Geoff Swaim
4 of 15Weight: 250 lbs.
Position: TE
Stars: 3-star
2012 Stats: 11 REC, 88 YD, 3 TD
Other Finalists: N/A
Commit Date: 6/12/12, Signed: 11/19/12 Enrolled: 1/14/13
Analysis
D.J. Grant has run out of eligibility, so Swaim will have the chance to come in and compete right away for a starting gig. He has great size at 6'5'', 250-pounds and should be a very good in-line or blocking tight end for the Longhorns. His experience at the JUCO level and the fact that he enrolled early should really help him out.
Darius James
5 of 15Weight: 320 lbs.
Position: OG
Stars: 5-star
School: Harker Heights High School (TX)
Other Finalists: Nebraska, Florida, Florida State, Baylor, Arkansas
Commit Date: 3/5/12
Analysis
Kent Perkins
6 of 15Weight: 285 lbs.
Position: OT
Stars: 4-star
School: Lake Highlands High School (TX)
Other Finalists: N/A
Commit Date: 2/27/12
Analysis
Kent Perkins represents yet another huge offensive line commitment for the Longhorns. He has elite size and is ranked as the No. 3 offensive tackle in the 2013 class according to the 247Sports Composite. He'll compete for the starting job as a freshman, and he should eventually take over.
Desmond Harrison
7 of 15Weight: 305 lbs.
Position: OT
Stars: 3-star
School: Contra Costa College
Other Finalists: N.C. State, Oklahoma, Arizona State
Commit Date: 1/21/12
Analysis
Jake Oliver
8 of 15Weight: 198 lbs.
Position: WR
Stars: 4-star
School: Jesuit Prep School (TX)
Senior Stats: 93 REC, 1,354 YDs, 18 TD
Other Finalists: Oklahoma
Commit Date: 2/15/12
Analysis
Jake Oliver has the potential to be a great wideout for the Longhorns.
His height will allow him to high-point balls and be a big red-zone target. He's also a big-time in-state recruiting win for Texas. The Longhorns are very deep right now at wide receiver with Mike Davis, Jackson Shipley, Cayleb Jones and Marcus Johnson all looking to contribute, and that includes a few backups like Kendall Sanders Bryant Jackson.
Oliver could work his way into the rotation, or he may want to redshirt his first year.
Rami Hammad
9 of 15Weight: 320 lbs.
Position: OG
Stars: 4-star
School: Irving High School (TX)
Other Finalists: Baylor, TCU, Oklahoma
Commit Date: 1/23/13
Analysis
Rami Hammad just recently committed to Texas, and he's a big commitment for the Longhorns. He's also a former Baylor commitment, so he represents a big flip. He has great size and agility, and he should eventually compete for the starting role at one of the guard spots.
Antwuan Davis
10 of 15Weight: 180 lbs.
Position: CB
Stars: 4-star
School: Bastrop High School (TX)
Other Finalists: Notre Dame
Commit Date: 5/4/12
Analysis
Chevoski Collins
11 of 15Weight: 185 lbs.
Position: S
Stars: 3-star
School: Livingston High School (TX)
Other Finalists: Oklahoma
Commit Date: 10/8/12
Analysis
Chovoski Collins is a very interesting recruit with a ton of potential for Texas. He could get some looks at corner because of his smaller size, but he is ranked as a safety. If Texas moves Quandre Diggs to safety, Collins may want to consider a redshirt year. Once Diggs and Adrian Phillips move on though, Collins could compete for a starting spot.
Naashon Hughes
12 of 15Weight: 211 lbs.
Position: OLB
Stars: 3-star
School: Harker Heights High School (TX)
Other Finalists: USC
Commit Date: 2/28/12
Analysis
Naashon Hughes has great height, which makes him a very interesting outside linebacker prospect. That should help him dropping back in coverage, and his length will also give him an advantage in space on the edges. Hughes has tremendous potential.
Montrel Meander
13 of 15Weight: 180 lbs.
Position: S
Stars: 3-star
School: Palo Duro High School (TX)
Other Finalists: Washington State
Commit Date: 2/4/13
Analysis
