2 Former WWE Superstars Rumored to Be in AZ for Royal Rumble

Rumors have been swirling for weeks about which surprise entrants we may see in this year's Royal Rumble. We may have a couple answers to that question.

It is being reported by PWInsider (Via WrestleZone) that Shelton Benjamin and Carlito are in Arizona and rumored to be there for the Rumble match.

PWInsider is reporting that former Intercontinental Champions Carlito and Shelton Benjamin are both in Phoenix, Arizona and will be competing in the 30 man Royal Rumble match. It was reported by many websites that both men are in Scottsdale, Arizona for an independent wrestling event for this weekend, which is less than 30 minutes from US Airways Center in Phoenix.

Whether they are back with the company, here for a one-time shot or there for the Rumble at all is not confirmed, but this would be very good for WWE if it turned out they were there.

Carlito and Benjamin are both highly talented Superstars who could add some excitement to the Rumble match.

Both are known to fly from the top ropes and both men have been billed as future World champions at one point.

Carlito has been wrestling on the Indy scene in recent years and in WWC, while Benjamin has been a staple in Ring Of Honor over the past few years.

Hopefully these reports turn out to be true, because both men would probably get huge pops from a crowd that has not forgotten them.
