Top Invite, North: OT Eric Fisher, Central Michigan

5 of 8

While the three quarterbacks for the North will get the most attention, including in a following slide here, Fisher might have the potential to be the highest pick of any player on the North roster.

Relatively unknown entering the 2012-13 season, Fisher has likely earned himself a spot inside the top 20 picks in next April's draft. He currently sits behind Texas A&M's Luke Joeckel as the consensus No. 2 offensive tackle in the 2013 class.

At 6'7", Fisher has the feet, balance and coordinator of a starting left tackle in the NFL. He could dominate the week's practices.

Top Invite, South: DL Ezkial Ansah, BYU

6 of 8

Ansah looks the part of a high NFL draft pick.

At 6'5" and 270 pounds, Ansah is blessed with the kind of power, speed and athleticism that NFL scouts and executives absolutely drool over. Given Ansah's physical prowess, expect comparisons to New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul to be fast and heavy over the next several months.

The NFL Scouting Combine might be a better situation for Ansah to "wow" the scouts and media in attendance, but he can certainly do some damage in Mobile, too. A strong week of practice could solidify Ansah as one of the best defenders in the class.

Players to Watch: North QBs

7 of 8

Let's not lie to ourselves: The main focus of the Senior Bowl will be on the quarterbacks.

The North features three potential top-100 players in Ryan Nassib, Mike Glennon and Zac Dysert. More than likely, at least one of those three will be drafted in or near the first round of April's draft.

Nassib is strong-armed and smart, with some mobility in and out of the pocket. Glennon, at 6'6", has a big arm but needs polisihing. And Dysert, more of an unknown, can take huge strides towards a top-40 pick with a big week in Mobile.

Very little is set in stone in terms of this year's quarterbacks. The three from the North have an excellent opportunity this week to show NFL teams they are ready to be a franchise-type guy.

Players to Watch: South QBs

8 of 8

Again, the same script applies for the South: The three quarterbacks invited to Mobile are the main players to watch.

And like the North, the South has three talented quarterbacks who have a chance to crack the first 100 picks. E.J. Manuel, Tyler Wilson and Landry Jones make up the trio.

Manuel should demand eyeballs for both his athletic ability and NFL-ready size. Experience running the read-option—which has swept the NFL in 2012-13—is also a big plus for the former Seminole.

Wilson is tough as nails and could currently sit as the most likely of the six quarterbacks in Mobile to be drafted first. Accuracy and a fundamentally-sound delivery make Wilson an appealing option for NFL teams.

Jones, who has a wealth of experience coming out of Oklahoma, is accurate and smooth throwing the football. He could solidify a spot in the top 60 picks with a strong week.

For all six quarterbacks in Mobile, this week provides am important proving ground. Those who make the most of it will give themselves the inside track to being a first-round pick in April.
