St. Louis Cardinals' Fans in All Their Glory

With baseball season right around the corner, it’s time to revisit the glory that is the Cardinals fan. We join Matt Sebek’s October, 2007 column in progress…

On Tuesday morning, 22 groups of collective baseball fan bases will have months to ponder the season that was 2007. For some fans, 2007 was a rebuilding process and a promising sign of things to come in 2008. For others, it was a complete disaster.

For this particular piece of digital goodness, we could care less about wins and losses…we’re just glad we claim home to St. Louis, Missouri—the capital of redneck fandom that supplies this here sports website with enough material to last a lifetime.

2007 was fun, Cardinals fans. En memoriam, here are 12 Cardinals fans (hey, maybe we’ll make a calendar) that caught our eye for one reason of another. Raise your cans of Bud Dry to the sky, turn up the Journey, and let’s toast to one helluva year. We’ll see you in 2008.
