Egypt 1 - Zambia 1 (World Cup qualifier, March 29, 2009) Amr Zaki put his Premier League goal drought behind him to put Egypt in front but Francis Kasonde equalised on 57 minutes.

Mozambique 0 - Nigeria 0 (World Cup qualifier, March 29, 2009) Veteran striker Dario Monteiro from South African club Mamelodi Sundowns was the unluckiest footballer on the artificial Machava Stadium pitch as he netted twice during the first half only to be ruled offside each time.
