Future Looks Bright for Milwaukee Brewers' J.J. Hardy
The Brew Crew's Hardy, poised for a break out season
Hardy is one of the few players I get excited about. Watching him play in Huntsville of the southern league, his drive always impressed me. From a pure statistical standpoint, J.J. is borderline elite. He could find himself among the upper echelon of All-Star caliber shortstops as he matures.
Today’s offensive outburst was merely the latest in a torrid spring for Hardy. During this six-game hitting streak, he has hit .500 and been the offensive spark plug that the Brewers need.
With big bats like Ryan Braun, Prince Fielder, and Corey Hart in the lineup with him he should be in plenty of RISP situations and should not be pitched around much at all. If I had to pick a break out shortstop this year, Hardy is it.
