WWE Raw: Spoiler-Free Preview, News and More for December 24

With the holiday season in full swing, the WWE has given its stars the time to be with their families and friends, so the Dec. 24 edition of Raw was recorded last week.

That doesn’t mean the WWE Universe can’t enjoy the recorded show just as much as any live edition of Raw.

Every year around this time, the WWE goes holiday crazy in its programming and the Christmas Eve spectacular Monday night will be no different. From hardcore to casual fans, all should expect an overload of Christmas-themed decorations.

Of course. This is the WWE, a company built on entertaining the fans, and it will blow out this show like few others during the year. While the numbers will be down because of the holiday, this week’s Raw will be one of the most fun to watch of 2012.

Expect the Faces to Dominate Christmas Episode

Just like last week’s Tribute to the Troops, the WWE must cater to its demographic for this episode—young kids that will watch despite it being Christmas Eve—and allow it to be an upbeat episode; that means the faces will go over throughout the show.

Question on Everyone’s Mind: Will Every Face Win?

There is a chance that one of the WWE’s favorite bad guys—Antonio Cesaro, Damien Sandow, etc.—may get a victory in the middle of the show, but this night is all about the good guys celebrating with the fans.

The WWE wants the faces on the roster to show off its brightest and coolest merchandise so the children watching it want the same gear as well. With plenty of gift certificates and returns that will bring families back to the store, the WWE wants to be fresh in children's minds.
