Vikings' Christian Ponder and ESPN's Samantha Steele Officially Married

There will be no amount of dragging of feet in this household, because Christian Ponder and Samantha Steele don't mess around. Word is the two were officially married in a private ceremony on Monday. 

Twin Cities reports the Vikings quarterback and ESPN reporter were married on Monday afternoon in St. Croix County Court in Hudson, Wisconsin. 

If you are keeping score at home, we had just reported earlier this month the two were engaged. Back on Dec. 4, Steele confirmed she and Ponder were moving quickly toward marriage. 

However, it wasn't long before that when we reported they were dating. 

You only have to skip to mid-October to find an exchange between Ponder and Twitter followers wherein he acknowledged he was dating Steele. 

Just weeks later, they are married. 

Wow, just wow. Join me in sitting from our comfortable chairs and judging these two people we have never met. Allow me to be the first to say that there is no way this relationship that seems to be quick to light like a firework will burn as bright years from now. 

Oh, what's that? Samantha Steele has a hilarious quip for me on this one?

Here is what Steele had to tweet to the masses of people who would rather give unwanted marriage advice from their virtual soapbox.

It's the first marriage for both Ponder, 24, and Steele, 27. As for living arrangements, the court documents list an Arizona address for Steele and a Minnesota one for Ponder, and they were married in Wisconsin. 

So, it's your guess as to where they will settle down. 

I guess when you meet the love of your life, you don't pump the breaks. According to Steele and Ponder, you lay on that pedal and commit for the rest of your lives. 

More power to these two, as well as genuine well wishes to the both of them.
