Samantha Steele and Christian Ponder Move Quickly, Reportedly Engaged

It seems congratulations are in order for ESPN reporter Samantha Steele and Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder, who are reportedly engaged to one another.
That was quick.
Sports Illustrated's Richard Deitsch reported via Twitter the star QB and ESPN personality are headed toward matrimony after what seems to be a brief courting period:
Spoke to ESPN's @samantha_steele today. She confirms she is engaged to @vikingsfootball quarterback Christian Ponder.

It seems a couple photos have leaked according to Total Frat Move who—you will see later in this report— have sources who spotted the proposal.

A nation of bros with crushes on the rising star at ESPN mourn while the quarterback, who has had a tumultuous season, is being praised as one lucky guy.
But really, the big news is that this relationship has evolved so quickly.
It was just October when Ponder sounded off to a fan on Twitter, affirming that he was indeed dating Steele. Now, a little over a month later, they are taking the big plunge into marriage.
Obviously, there is no way of knowing exactly when the two turned their friendship into a romance, so we simply congratulate what seems to be two enormously happy people.
One of the more hilarious quips in this early romance was back in November, when a stagnant Vikings team finally won a game.
After being blasted for his relationship, Ponder demanded Steele get just as much credit for the win as the blame she took for the losses.
As for how it all went down, Busted Coverage reports there was a heavy Christmas theme in the proposal. Citing Total Frat Move, Ponder popped the question like this:
According to a source close to Steele, Ponder proposed with Christmas lights made out to say, “Marry Me.” Steele accepted, and now has an engagement ring that our source says, “Looks like a Super Bowl ring.” Ironic, considering Ponder will probably never get one.
The Vikings have been hit with two recent losses and are 6-6 on the season. As for Ponder, he is bringing a season to a close wherein he improved his quarterback rating and touchdown total.
The more important news in his life is that he found his future wife in sports reporter Samantha Steele.
