EPL Exclusive :Target Talk with Mikel Arteta.
This is one of my older articles, with Everton midfielder, Mikel Arteta. (around a month ago). Warren Halley was originally in charge of the writing portion. I have uploaded it on Tim's request. Unfortunately, I don't have the original format, but I will present the questions to you in the order of which they were answered. This is the unedited sheet of the interviews so I apologize if there are errors. The location was the Albert Dock Complex Lawn where the Arteta currently lives.
SS:Mikel,thanks for having us.
MA:Yes,no problem.

SS: So Mikel,we understand that you are quite a fan of learning languages, how many can you speak?
MA:(Laughs)..Ofcourse,I can speak Spanish and Basque and Catalan but I have learned English since I came here (England),I can also speak French because I played in France and Italian also and I ha..have recently learnt Portugese also.
SS:Well, that is quite remarkable,David Moyes said he will never sell you, what do you make of that statement.
MA:Ofcourse,Manager must show control and I am happy to be part of his long term plans.
SS:Have you settled in at Merseyside now?
MA:I was settled here, one year ago.It is easy place to adapt and I have had alot of help so there have been no problems.
SS:Who is your best friend in football?
MA:At Everton or in football in the world?
SS:Generally, who is your best friend in football.
MA:It would have to be Xabi,Xabi Alonso. We are neighbours and I knew him in Spain also.
SS:Are you still in a relationship with the former ''Miss Spain''?
MA:(Both laugh)..I thought this was about football..Yes,I am and her name is Lorena.
SS:When will Everton win their next trophy?
MA:I believe its been long time..My focus,I mean, our focus is to play for Champions League this season.Next season,We will have to win atleast one trophy but for us and for fans it is important to play for Europe for next season.
SS:What is your best goal for Everton?
MA:Last season against Bolton,I think.
SS:You have played in both the Spanish and the English leagues, which one is more competitive?
MA:It is different, In Spain, it's more about tactics, you never see body's flying and heavy tackles like here in England. In Spain,it is rare for player to have long term injury,In England, every team has two or three players injured for most of the season but I like the English league because it is exciting,it is new for me because something is always happening here, managers have a go at eachother, players also so I think the England league is more bigger.
SS:Well,Mikel,We have had a great time, thanks again for the having us.
