Chicago Cubs Outlook in '08
First of all, I just want to say that it is finally baseball season.
Sure football is great and so is basketball. But there is nothing like opening day of the baseball season.
I can't see why the Cubs won't win the NL Central. They were already stacked and have gotten a lot better. Sure, I think they might be a few players away. The pitching staff is looking great, even though Rich Hill has had a hard time throwing a strike all spring. I still think he is a solid third starter.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
I believe that it will be Lieber and Marquis who save the rotation. Sure, I really don't like Marquis, but he racked up a lot of of innings and you know how important that is.
I think Kerry Wood has found his calling and will not go on the DL unless some freak accident just has to happen. Kerry Wood will notch 40 saves and maybe even be an all-star.
I am a fan of the prototypical lead off batter. I don't want instant offense. I want a guy that takes pitches. A guy that doesn't strike out 130 times durning the season. A guy that will foul off five pitches in a row off on a 3-2 count. That guy is Ryan Theriot.
Soriano is more fitted for the four hole. If I was Lou, which I am clearly not, this is what my lineup would be:
Theriot SS
Fukudome RF
Lee 1B
Soriano LF
Rameriz 3B
DeRosa 2B
Sota C
Pie CF
P
Lets go Cubs. Lets take it all this year.
