WWE TLC 2012: How Many Matches Will the Shield Interfere In?
The Shield has made quite the impact in the past month. The team of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns interfered in many matches while proclaiming they are righting the wrongs in the WWE. How many matches will The Shield interfere in at WWE TLC?
Quite a difficult question to ask, considering they will take part in a six-man tables, ladders and chairs match at TLC. They will fight Kane, Daniel Bryan and Ryback, three men who The Shield attacked within the past month. This TLC match will also be the first of its kind to be decided by pinfall or submission. Their opponents are out for revenge. Will they be in any condition to interfere in any other matches?

Considering the brutality of these matches, it seems highly unlikely. It also depends where they are put. If theyโre in the main event, they wonโt interfere in any matches. Maybe they'll attack Orton again, if heโs on the card, or even Kofi Kingston. If their match isnโt the last on Sunday, they might interfere in one other match.ย
The match that fits their mission of โfighting injusticeโ would be the ladder match between John Cena and Dolph Ziggler.
Zigglerโs Money in the Bank briefcase is on the line. Ziggler and his fans view this match as a disgrace simply because his briefcase will be hanging from the rafters once again. For Cena, heโs had numerous opportunities in his career. Why would he need anotherย if he wins the match?
It wouldnโt seem fair to Ziggler, whoโs held that briefcase since July. Heโs earned the right to get a title shot whenever he wants. The Shield should see it that way. Now would be the time for The Shield to interact with the WWEโs top star. They should cost Cena the match and help Ziggler win.
Last night marked the first time the group interacted with Cena, as they attacked him during his match with the Big Show. Attacking Cena at TLC would also make this stable more of a threat to the WWE. They attack Cena, and they keep everyone in the WWE on their toes. The loss wouldnโt hurt Cena, and The Shield needs this one last rub to close out 2012.
Another possibility is going after a Superstar they havenโt fought yet; The Shield could also interfere in the chairs match for the World Heavyweight Title.
Sheamus is the only top-face Superstar The Shield hasnโt fought yet. They could have fought during last nightโs brawl but didnโt. The Celtic Warrior was occupied with Dolph Ziggler, and The Shield were too busy fighting their opponents for this Sunday.
Interfering in the chairs match makes sense for The Shield. They cost another face wrestler a title shot and keep their momentum going. As far as their angleโs concerned, they could state how Sheamus has had too many opportunities and deserved to be attacked.
The Shield could also interfere in both matches. However, it would be too much exposure for the group on pay-per-view. Itโs better for them to show up in one match instead of two. Out of the entire card, costing the match for either Sheamus and/or Cena is the most logical for The Shield.
Regardless of which match The Shield interferes with, their momentum should not slow down entering 2013. Both matches make sense for The Shield to screw either Cena or Sheamus out of their opportunities. The Shield is a force to be reckoned with, and attacking an established face at TLC will only make them bigger in the WWE.
