Brent Celek is officially out for Thursday's contest with the Cincinnati Bengals (via Eagles Insider):

"

TE Brent Celek (concussion) already declared OUT for Thursday night's game.

Celek was the team’s top tight end coming into Week 14, but Philadelphia will be forced to lean on third-year backup Clay Harbor to take over the spot as rookie quarterback Nick Foles’ dump-off man.

There is still a chance the team could just be playing it safe with Celek’s injury, and with the club far out of playoff contention and the injuries to other stars, the franchise is smart to make this move.

This is horrible news for an Eagles team that is already suffering too many injuries to top stars across the roster. Both running back LeSean McCoy and quarterback Michael Vick are also out with concussions.

Celek was coming off a seven-catch performance against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13, and Eagles fans and fantasy owners are devastated to lose the star TE so early in the game. The bad news keeps getting worse out of Philadelphia.
