According to John Branch of the NY Times, the company that has provided the sod for Yankee Stadium since 1960 has decided to offically market their dirt as Yankee Stadium Dirt.
โItโs just capitalizing on what we have and what weโve done,โ said Rick DeLea, vice president of DeLea Sod Farms.

It all makes you wonder what theyโll sell next. My guess is Yankee Stadium officially licenced plastic from the company that makes the seats.
