Barry Bonds The Homerun King

Barry Bonds...one of the most controversial names in sports history right up there with the likes of Pete Rose and Jose Canseco. I completely understand why most people wont accept Barry Bonds as their favorite baseball player of all time, hell Willie Mays is my favorite player, but to deny him the title as home run king is just stupid to me. I hear some people say "oh, well Hank Aaron is still my home run king" or "this home run record is tainted" you know what shut up, I know everyone is entitled to their opinion but it just burns me up to hear people say things like that. If you really think Hank Aaron is still the home run king then there is no home run king, even if you say Babe is still your home run king I will say then there is no home run king. Because to say you will take away someones hard earned(yes hard earned) accomplishments because you "believe" he/she cheated then you are just a hypocrite. What Barry Bonds knowingly or unknowingly might have done is not bad enough to strip him of his title, unless you tell me Bonds was paying every pitcher to let him hit home runs then he hit them fair and square. I don't care what he might have been taking, who's to say Hank or the Babe was on something we might see as cheating now a days. Hell back in the 20's and 60's drugs like cocaine, heroin, and marijuana might have helped the Babe or Hank smack a couple out of the park we don't know what they were taking back then. So if you want to be fair and really make the records pure again clear them, clear them and start anew, that's the only way you can honestly say the records are pure and untainted. Still saying it's different because he used performing enhancing drugs, well think about this lets say you work a job that requires you to have energy and you stay up late some times and don't have that energy so you buy some energy drink to keep you awake is that cheating. It's the same concept it's your job just like baseball is Barry Bonds job. Do energy drinks not enhance your performance at work if you need energy? If your boss banned energy drinks for all workers wouldn't you find a way to keep your self up? If so then should you be forced to give back that raise and employee of the month title and be shamed and booed and have people come to work with empty energy cans mocking you because Sally did the job energy drink free and you didn't? That's not how life works people all ways look for the upper hand and everyone at some point or another has partaken in a form of cheating. So to say you are not accepting Barry Bonds as your favorite player of all time I have no problem, but if you are hypocritical enough to say Barry Lamar Bonds is not the the all time leader in home runs with 762 and home run king THEN THERE IS NO HOME RUN KING.
