Is Hulk Hogan Preventing Storylines Developing on the Road to WrestleMania XXV?
Hulk Hogan has been rumored for a while now to have some involvement in WrestleMania XXV, but has not officially confirmed anything, and I was wondering if his indecision was causing some storyline to be held back?
It appears he has almost definitely had talks with someone in the WWE regarding a match, and it seems to me that there may be some developments involving WrestleMania XXV that are being kept vague until it is known what Hulk Hogan will do.
Hulk recently updated his Twitter account saying Vince McMahon would happily use Hulk in a match, only to change it shortly after to something a little less conclusive, leaving us still no clearer on his position.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Chris Jericho is one of the possibilities to face Hulk Hogan if he was to come back for a match, and it would certainly fit nicely into the whole Jericho vs. a legend angle.
By this time last year, building up to WrestleMania XXIV, we had already had the matches for Florida confirmed (well, nearly, give or take a few), and I believe the reason we haven’t had firm confirmation of Jericho’s opponent could be due to Hulk.
The other direction WWE could be taking this is a John Cena vs. Hulk Hogan match. There are many reports around that this could be one of the ideas in the pipeline, and it could possibly explain some recent goings on.
John Cena is currently without a match at WrestleMania, and with other wrestlers pairing off for the grand stage there seem to be only a few ways in which he will now be competing.
The Big Show was recently announced as Edge’s WrestleMania XXV opponent on Raw, but many including myself believe it will be changed to a triple threat.
The Big Show may just be facing Edge in singles competition, but to me that doesn’t scream headlining match at WrestleMania, and I think his inclusion could have just been a stalling tactic for the WWE until they know what to do with John Cena.
Then again the Edge vs. John Cena rivalry has been done so many times in recent years The Big Show could have been bought in just to give an extra edge. He is a great wrestler in my opinion, and deserves a spot in the main event.
One other match I think is being affected is the Money in the Bank ladder match. Six participants have already been decided, albeit not on the actual shows, and some big names that were seemingly bound for this match have not won through yet.
One of the men I was putting my money on was Rey Mysterio, and thought he would qualify on Monday against Kane and Mike Knox. I question whether he has not been put through yet due to the Hulk Hogan indecision, and whether he may be being considered for the third spot in the World Heavyweight Championship triple threat.
There is also the possibility, however unlikely, that John Cena could claim one of the last two spots in Money in the Bank, as a big star is yet to win it.
The WWE seem to rely heavily on hyping up main events for WrestleMania, knowing they need to advertise exciting matches well in advance to bring in the paying public. It surprises me that they would hold off promoting a match with Hulk in if they know it is going ahead, so I am reserved in believing it will happen.
Hulk could have already agreed or disagreed terms with Vince McMahon, we just don’t know, so the delay may just be the WWE’s way of keeping us in suspense until WrestleMania. But either way I think decisions will come shortly, and holding off complete confirmation of matches isn’t doing the WWE any harm.
Do you think Hulk will be at WrestleMania XXV, and who will he face?
